Mexico Surf Camp - Surf spots
Only an 8 minute drive from Villa Tropical is the world-class left hand point break called Rio Nexpa. Rio Nexpa is a 300 yard left hand point break and one of the most consistent surf spots on the planet. This is the main wave that you will be surfing on your Mexico Surf Adventure. It’s one of Mainland Mexico’s best waves and can accommodate all levels of surfing ability with multiple take off spots. The beach has a relaxed vibe with several places in front of the break where you can kick back in a hammock and put down a few beers while watching the surf. Apart from surfing Rio Nexpa point break, there are many other quality surf spots in the area that our guide with his local knowledge will make sure that you are in the right place on any given swell.
South pacific ocean swells are constantly pounding the coasline of Mexico. It is never flat here but in the winter months it can get quite small. Fortunately the winter months is the time for north pacific swells and if surfing conditions too small as Nexpa we will head north west to where we can find clean northern hemisphere swells.
